8 Traits that Make People Millionaires

8 Traits that Make People Millionaires

It's not by accident that one becomes a millionaire (besides winning lotto or receiving an inheritance). It's the small steps that accumulate over the years and you can start to take your own steps now- or maybe you already do and this just proves you're on your way!

1. Always learning

Intelligent people know that they have so much to learn. The more I learn, the more I know I need to learn! We definitely up-skill what we need to learn, but the point remains the same.

2. Taking action

We can have all the ideas in the world but if we don't execute, they're just ideas. Like a muscle, this one defs gets easier!

Tip: Write a list of the things you know you need to do to start the thing. Pick one thing. Take action on that first thing. Google "how do I" if you're not sure. Just start implementing and the rest will follow

3. Having courage

I was going to name this point "not afraid of failing" but it's in our human design to be afraid- it's the pushing through the fear and doing the hard thing that is the message here.

4. Invest Money

On average, millionaires have 7 streams of income. They reinvest any surplus money into investments such as property or shares. Wealth is created over the long term; it's the accumulation of small amounts stacked over time.

Tip: You don't need to wait until you have several thousands dollars to start buying shares. You can start with $5 on micro-investing platforms such as Raiz and Spaceship and transfer a select amount of money every payday. Last years Spaceships returns were 40%!

5. Take Risks

If you don't try, you fail by default. It can be risky, it requires taking many chances, unsure of the outcome, sometimes you fail and lose money, other times the risk pays off.
